Participants of language schools at NARFU on their experience of studying with us:
-
"I made a lot of both Russian and international friends in Arkhangelsk. I learn a lot of new things, including both words, grammar and cultural phenomenon’s. I’m sure it would have been possible to learn the words on my own, but the experience I gained from this summer school is truly unique. What I think really matters is that I now feel more motivated to learn Russian so that I can improve the fluency of my conversations the next time I meet my friends in Arkhangelsk. It has been a quite short course, and it is hard to cover all the topics needed to master Russian in just two weeks. However, I now have a lot of people who want to help me overcome these challenges."
-
"Thank you very much for organizing the school and helping me throughout the course. I have very pleasant memories from participating in the winter school and getting to know you and the other participants. Of course I want to continue studying such a beautiful Russian language and I wish that I had the opportunity to come to your university and to Arkhangelsk, because this city is definitely a very beautiful place."
-
"I hope I can come to Arkhangelsk and take some more courses at your university.

"The Winter School of Russian Language and Culture is such a rewarding and incredible experience. Thank you so much for your work! Please let me know the next time you hold a Russian language school - I think you mentioned one in June? I would love to attend."
-
"I was very pleased with the program, the mix of lecture and cultural and social events. The mixture for me as a beginner was good in the sense that I could have some time to "breathe" between the lessons and process everything. My teachers were good, friendly and likable."
-
"I felt welcome throughout the entirety of the summer school and had no issues with finding my way around town because of how tentative everyone was. There was a wide range of activities as well as events that all added to a great summer school experience."
